Quick update on today's action, Beci Ryan reports from Belgrade: 'Preliminary results for DYN on Day 2 of the Individual AIDA Pool World Championships Belgrade. Such an exciting day with some incredible performances.
The British Team came away with a clean sweep of white cards and PB's for the boys!
Adam Drzazga 178m, Jason Kirkpatrick 123m
Lucelle Simms 166m (& narrowly missing out on a place in the B-Finals), Beci Ryan 154m, Shirley Turner 125m, Georgina Miller 100m'
I would like to add that Jason did his 123m swim in bi-fins which makes it even better performance!
Full results sheets have been uploaded here. Some amazing dives and usual suspects/World Record holders made it to the Finals with Top 5 male athletes swimming 250+ and also two ladies breaking 200m. Is 300m barrier to be broken in the final? We shall find out on Friday.
Tomorrow is the last day of qualifiers and athletes will face probably the most mentally challenging discipline - Static. Good luck to all!
